1958 Cadillac DeVille
Cadillac started their artillery shell shaped bumper guards shortly after World War Two. They gradually became larger and more pronounced through the Fifties, with black rubber tips added in 1957.
Dagmar was a popular female personality of early 1950s live television. Remembered most for her curvy 42-23-39 figure, large and pronounced bumper guards began to be referred to as "Dagmars."
