Porsche 356
Introduced in 1950, the rear-engine Porsche 356 utilized the Volkswagen Beetle's drivetrain, suspension and chassis, all designed in the mid 1930s by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche.
Production of the 356 ended in 1965, succeeded by the Porsche 911.
